The Church of São Roque is famous for its richly decorated Baroque interior and impressive chapels. Built by the Jesuits in the 16th century, it remains one of Lisbon’s most important religious and artistic monuments.
São Pedro de Alcântara
São Pedro de Alcântara is a popular viewpoint overlooking downtown Lisbon and São Jorge Castle. The area combines gardens, terraces, and scenic views, making it one of the best spots to admire the city skyline.
Bairro Alto
Bairro Alto is one of Lisbon’s most vibrant and traditional neighborhoods. During the day, its narrow streets preserve a historic charm, while at night the area becomes famous for its lively bars, restaurants, and cultural atmosphere.
Praça Luís de Camões
Praça Luís de Camões is an important square connecting Chiado and Bairro Alto. Named after Portugal’s most celebrated poet, the square has long been a gathering place for artists, writers, and visitors exploring the city center.
